Roly Platt & Rick Fines
For more than 38 years, Roly Platt’s distinctive and versatile harmonica-playing talents have put him in great demand, both for live performances and in the studio. His website showcases just a partial list of the 1,800 individual album cuts, movie scores and jingles he has been a part of for clients the world over.
Rick Fines is an award-winning Blues performer who has been thrilling audiences for many years with his captivating songs, diverse guitar styling and distinctively growl-y vocals. His latest album, Driving Home, is his most eclectic and successful release to date.
Lisa is an Ontario native who spent her childhood in Woodstock singing in school and church choirs and playing trumpet. Her unique and powerful voice has been heard in many blues and jazz festivals in collaboration with notables such as Chuck Jackson, Roly Platt, Wayne Buttery and Ronnie Douglas. She is looking forward to releasing a full album to follow on her January 2015 EP.
Tamica Herod is a redhead, but her musical heart and soul are all about the Blues. These quotes from her followers and fans perhaps say it best …
“Versatility is Tamica’s middle name. Blues, R+B, Funk, Soul and Rock and Roll hits from yesterday and today, she delivers them all at 150%… a force to be reckoned with!” (Steve Grisbrook)”
“An engaging and gutsy performer – as beautiful to see as she is to hear, Tamica rocks the house with an unapologetic ‘Wham bam, thank you ma’am!’ In a word: ‘Unforgettable.’”
The Groove Project
The Groove Project features the incredible talents of Wayne Buttery (lead vocals/lead guitar), Charlie Hinkel (electric bass and vocals), Dennis King (percussion and vocals), Gabor Szepesi (organ and keyboards), Russ Strathdee, aka Doctor Sax (tenor, alto and soprano saxophone).
